Located right in the heart of Queenstown, next to Lake Wakatipu, Tatler and Prime offer stunning views, ambience, service, wine and cuisine. Tatler and Prime are located 40 metres away from each other; for dine-arounds, we can seat a total of 290 guests between the two venues.
As well as being highly-regarded restaurants appealing to local and overseas diners, Tatler and Prime are ideal function venues with proven track records for hosting events including weddings, conferences, concerts and dinners.
The historic Tatler is on two levels and has an elegant ambience. Lake views are available from outside tables while the original wooden interior provides a warm welcome inside. Upstairs, Tatler’s Spectator Room features an open fire, private bar and a balcony which overlooks The Mall and Lake Wakatipu.
Tatler’s Spectator Room is perfect for intimate events of up to 28 guests; another 12 can be seated on the heated, covered balcony. Downstairs, Tatler seats 70.
Prime is a modern venue with stylish décor and stunning lake views through floor to ceiling windows. Prime features data projectors, sound system and open fire. Prime’s balcony is ideal for barbecues in the summer months.
Prime can seat 180 guests and can host 250 guests standing for cocktail functions.
